YOUTH CONFIRMATION
It's true, we don't do it like other churches. Also true, we involve adults in the process. The result is a better understand what a "confirmation of beliefs" is all about, and, in the process, finding out why we're Lutheran and what that all means.
THE COMPONENTS:
Parent/student learning
YEARS 1-3
Parents and students, grades 7-9, learning together. Parents and confirmation students gather once a month for an hour of learning and discussion as a family. This is a required component of confirmation. The remaining Wednesdays confirmation students attend LAB (see below)

Westwood U courses are opportunities for faith formation, between people of all ages, through education and activity. Courses are released various times throughout the year. Requirements for WWU are listed to the right.
